2023 Brown Snout - Bisquet Oak Cask Cider
We’re five generations into farming at Broome Farm and family is hugely important to us. This cider is made from Brown Snout and Bisquet, two legendary cider apples. Recent DNA research has confirmed what many would have already guessed: Bisquet is a parent of Brown Snout. These two apples combine and work together perfectly to create a smooth, cohesive drink. Soft tannins, depth of flavour, sheer delight. We think it’s the same story for how we work together too.

500ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Golden colour, short-lived bubbly head and aroma of oak cask, apple, funk. Taste is tangy, oaky, wood cask, with appley notes, some vanilla and drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry oaky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
