Are you Gung-Ho enough? Gung-Ho Joe is! This dark beer is a farmhouse extra stout with mild roasted characters and slight coffee notes that you won’t soon forget! It has a lot of spirit, but doesn’t overwhelm the tastebuds with bitterness. This is a stout to be enjoyed.

Light roast. Pours black with OK head and lacing. Finish a little too bitter and on the astringent side. Not a lot of body here. Some nut. Tap at Growlers of Gaithersburg.

Bottle. Cloudy brown color, big light tan head. Aroma of cocoa and light coffee. Taste is coffee grounds.
