An American Stout with medium malt sweetness, notes of chocolate, roasted malt flavor & aroma, assertive citrus hop characteristics and full body with a dry finish. Cheers!

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a three finger off-white to khaki foamy and bubbly head. Dissipated to leave some light lace.
Aroma: big roasted malt character, some coffee tones, subtle ash/char; some cocoa nibs, sly earthy hop backing
Flavor: moderately sweet with lots of roasty tones, some earthy and toasty qualities; quick roasty aftertaste
Texture: almost medium bodied but seemed to be just a touch under; some sessionability about it; some smoothness but also some roasty grip on my tongue; finishes fairly roasty/ashy and earthy
Overall: not a bad stout, but nothing truly over the top, perhaps again if someone handed one to me.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Black, mid sized head, Aroma of dark chocolate and coffee. Dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Firm, roasty malt. Licorice, ash and coffee. Very bitter finish.

Not bad, sexy as hell pour with a big roasted chocolate nose. Notes of unsweetened chocolate, espresso, pine, and a firm roasted bitterness on the back end. Bitterness seems a bit outsized for a non-imperial stout, but still a pretty good pint.

12 oz. can. Pours black, with a big, dense, beige head. The aroma is chicory, burnt toast, orange peel, allspice, and chalk. Dry and malty, with an astringent bitterness. Medium body, dusty, and sticky. Pretty nice.

355ml. Alko web. Opaque colour, small brownish head. Aroma has burned malts and mild licorice. Medium-bodied. Flavour is similar: burned malts, licorice, some hops. Roasted aftertaste. Quite simple. With fruitier hops, this could be decent CDA.

On tap at Kings Beer & Wine, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of woody notes, medium roast, and a touch of deep berry fruitiness. Flavour is dry and roasty, with wood, medium roast, some earthiness, and a touch of buried berry fruitiness. Clean and well-made. Solid.
