Appearance: deep amber color with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: caramel, some chocolate, butterscotch, light coffee tones, subtle grassy hops underneath it all
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a sweet to roasty quality; finishes caramel-y and chocolatey
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, pretty smooth along the tongue
Overall: these golden/white stouts are getting confusing because this beer is neither color, this beer is dark amber. However, the rest of this beer is nice enough to return to.
