Our first seasonal cask beer of 2026, brewed to brighten the long dark days. A bold new stout with a playful nod to a certain Irish classic — Toucan Play That Game. Rich and indulgent with layers of cocoa, chocolate, roasted barley and dark crystal malts. Biscuity, bittersweet and deeply malty with a smooth, dry finish. Light bitterness and a chocolate-led aroma. Cask-conditioned and best enjoyed slightly warmer, enhancing the full malt and cocoa character. Classic English hop varieties: Fuggles, Progress & WGV – delivering gentle earthy and floral notes true to traditional British stouts.

Half while waiting at the station pub for my chauffeur who got stuck in traffic. I'm really not a fan of Mcmullen but this was different. Loads going on for a low abv with lots of bitter chocolate and coffee and a real length of mouthfeel. This is really good.
