500ml (thx, Josh! ❤️) @ SF shared with almost full gang (missing two biggest guys only).
Aroma: American oak, a bit of soy sauce, nice rum notes addition, bold, some sweetness.
Taste: boozy, rum, sweet, some dark fruits, a lot of barrel.
Overall: good one.

Dark brown. Fairly big umami, almost a rye character. On the palate, has a light fruitiness maybe from the rum, with a lot of the big soy umami stuff. Has a bit of richness to it, the rum bringing an interesting liveliness to the finish. This is definitely high quality.

16.9 oz. bottle, pours black with a tiny tan head. Aroma has intense woody bourbon barrels, a touch of rum, medium roast, and molasses. Flavour is wonderfully complex, with a lovely combo of bourbon and rum barrels, wood, roasted malt, and dark sugars. Phenomenal barrel character accentuating that deep malt. Fantastic.

Poured from 650mL bottle (11th anniversary - 2026 vintage). Very dark brown with almost no beige head. Excellent bourbon and rum barrel blend with nice dark sugars and light roast malt. Enjoyable.

500mL bottle. Pours black with no head. Huge bourbon and rum barrels on the nose with lots of dark malts. Flavour has a ridiculous amount of bourbon barrels, burnt sugars, dark rum notes, burn bread crusts. Intense malts integrated insanely well with the barrels. This is phenomenal.
