Their Arrogant Bastard riff. Pours a murky deep amber with some lacing white head. Nose has sharp orange, some candy, earthy leaves, caramel, something a bit doggy though. Flavor has a big bitter prick, some malt, a little black tea. Tannic finish. Their first legit miss.

Keg at the brewery. Hazy copper with a thin frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of nutty notes, astringent hops, dog food, cinnamon, stone fruit. The taste is astringent hops and diacetly. Thin-lingering bitterness, off balance.

Pecan and peanut hulls aroma. Hazy copper, medium sticky head. Tea and potpourri, not strong. Medium head, some bitterness. Not super enjoyable, but not a chore either.

Draft pour at the source. Poured a light brown color with a small off-white head. Cigar humidor notes, some ash. Doesnt appear that was the intention. okay, but probably one i’ll avoid going forward unfortunately. They were going for Arrogant Bastard, but it doesn’t quite get there. A few tweaks and I bet they’ll be on track.
