Charcoal, charred meat nose. Mahogany, thin head. Walnut and charred meat flavor. Light body. A very savory and flavorful porter, the kind I like.

Keg at the brewery. Clear dark brown with a thin tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, coffee, green coffee, dark chocolate. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted coffee. Thin-medium bodied, lingering roastiness.

Sampled on tap at the brewery. Pours a watery, translucent, deep brown with some frothy, beige head. Nose is bursting with milk chocolate and vanilla. Not much else. Flavor is the same, some malt, but mostly just chocolate milk and vanilla extract. Crazy. My wife swore she was drinking a Yoohoo. Sweet finish. Total gimmick beer, but interesting.
