Cask at Lych Gate, Wolverhampton. Pours almost black with a small foamy tan head and some lacing. Malts dominate the aroma, alongside traces of honey and cake. In the mouth it is sweet and smooth with a creamy texture. Flavour has dark fruits, malts, some citrus and hints of vanilla and gingerbread. Finish is somewhat fruity. This is quite nice.

Teesside Beery Day Out Beer#17. Last beer on Teesside proper. Not quite black, not quite stout in accepted character, with mild but sweet dark malts the main here. Most roasted in aroma, a little thin in texture.
