To keep with tradition, our Anniversary Ale is dark, sweet, and boozy. This year’s offering takes the form of a Black Barleywine. We’ve aged half in bourbon barrels and the other half in Apple Brandy barrels. The bourbon barrel aging amplifies the chocolate and vanilla flavors while the apple brandy amplifies the notes of caramel and toffee. Whichever you choose, drink deep and enjoy slightly warm. Bottles to go available.

On tap at the brewery. The apple brandy version is bottled only (as of now). Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, vanilla, licorice, light chocolate. Flavor is Oaky and slightly Smokey. Bourbon definitely present. Dark fruit, earth, wood, chocolate, alcohol. Strong! Does not hide the alcohol.
