An English tradition, the extra special bitter is a more hop/malt forward version of the English Bitter. Our version uses a blend of English and American hops leaving a floral and herbal character balanced by notes of toffee and biscuit from the malt.

Can sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks Alon. Golden. Aroma of dusty malt, fruitiness, candy-ish touch. Sweetish flavor with dusty malt, minerals, some fruitiness, honey, a bit of caramel, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

32oz growler from the brewery pours a clear orange with a ring of white head. Nose has butterscotch, malt, some buttered biscuit, a little lemon, some tea, grist. Flavor has butterscotch candies, mild pepper, malt, honeycomb, a bit buttery. Sweet finish. Not an ESB, crank those early hop additions up!
