A fall take on our porter recipe with a house pumpkin spice blend added. Notes of coffee and chocolate from the dark roasted malts back the prominent spice blend leaving a complex flavor and aroma.

Tap. Pours clear red chestnut, medium creamy tab head, great lacing. Aroma is spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, roast, toffee. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, fairly spiced but stops short of excessive, nice residual roasty flavor. Medium body, silky mouthfeel. Nice.

Draft at the source, in downtown Silver Spring. Poured a dark, roasted malt color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some nice roasted malts, some light pumpkin pie notes. Flavor was pumpkin, some pine, roasted malt character. Pretty tasty. Girlfriend unexpectedly liked it.
