A blast of warm cinnamon and a little hint of sweet vanilla in a rich stout brewed with flaked rice and roasted barley.
It’s not on tap in a repurposed plastic drink jug in your grandmother’s refrigerator but it is on tap at Fort George for Stout Month.
Just like horchata, from the Latin word “hordeata” meaning “barley drink,” but appropriately, it’s a beer - which is also a barley drink.
You may have had horchata with rice milk, or horchata made from tiger nuts on the Spanish Coast, but you probably haven’t had Horchata This Way.
Hops: Columbus
Malts: 2Row, Crisp Flaked Rice, Pale Chocolate, Midnight Wheat, Roasted Barley

Dark brown. Lots of cinnamon, brown rice, chocolate. Ok so horchata accent but not fully horchata. Base is decent, I assume Cavatica.
