On tap at The Restoration hotel bar on Patton, with my wife. Pricey $9 pour, but it surprisingly came in a pint glass filled to the brim. Medium gold, clear, thin but stiff froth. Mild earthy & waxy spices on the nose, a little old apple. Husky, sweet apple acidity, waxy, ignored to passing esters, lots of candi, hoppy-er background noise than expected, touch of earthy funk, boozy enough, solid carbonation, but still syrupy. Drinkable. Okay, but more of a strong ale.

Tap at taproom. Golden-amber colour, tiny white head. Some banana and spices in the nose. Medium-bodied. Sweet banana, light herbal-spicey notes. Very short watery finish. Very easy tripel, Leffe Blonde -like.

Sample at the taproom. The beer is a slightly hazy pale orange color with a medium thin white head that diminishes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, yeast and malt. Medium to full body with flavors of bananas, herbal yeast and malt. The finish is fruity yeast and spices. Decent overall.

Keg at the brewpub, Asheville, 17/02/15. Clear light golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is light banana, caramel, touch of yeast, toffee. Taste comprises caramel, more banana and yeast esters, light spice, dark fruit rinds. Medium + body, fine carbonation, sweet licks in the close. Ok, drinks below ABV but a touch too one dimensional for my liking.

Draft at the source, Asheville pub crawl with Jim. Hazy bright yellow color, white head. Aroma of lightly spiced banana and orange esters. Taste is spiced, fruity. More flavorful than your average tripel.
