Brewed with our friends at Platter's Chocolate Factory - Porter with a perfect flavor combo of roasted malts & rich nuttiness yields a rich and elegant porter with creamy nutty sweetness, roasted malt, & waves of decadent chocolate. Best paired with Platter's Chocolate Factory hazelnut chocolates.

Big pounder can for $4, a little out of my price range, heheh. Pour is very rootbeer-like and it has a very nice looking creamy off white head that stays. Slight nose of hazelnuts. First taste is better than that so called chocolate bomb I had yesterday from troegs, stupid chocolate elf. This is a bit smoother and more acceptable on the palate. It does have some filbert in there but its well balanced, not like other filbert beers I've done where the nuts are so artificial and in yer face. The chocolate in here is also well done, goes down smoothly as a porter should. Pleasing finish, to an extent. Not as good as Pittsburgh Brewing Block House Double Chocolate Bock,
Verhaeghe Duchesse Chocolate Cherry, Penn Brewery German Chocolate Cake Stout or even Rivertowne Mazy's Malted Milk Chocolate Stout; but hey, it is very acceptable and I like d it!
