On tap at Skookum, pours a filthy dark brown with a tiny head. Nose brings out tons of the port barrels upfront, with the whiskey taking a backseat; there’s plenty of dark fruity malts, woodiness, and toffee. Flavour is rich, with big port barrel expression upfront, followed by woody whiskey, dark dried fruits, toffee, caramel, and moderate sugars. Complex barrel character, but an ever-so-slightly jumbled body. Well-structured, nice port finish. Excellent.

Medium brown, thin head. Dark fruit aroma, I guess that’s the port barrel. Soft body, sweet, finishing intensely oaky with a lot of port.
