On tap at Skookum, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with deep espresso upfront, plenty of dark sugars, gentle spicy lines from the rye, and a touch of bourbon. Flavour is rich and complex, with deep espresso, lots of dark sugars, spicy rye barrel, and bourbon all integrated really well. A bit sweeter than I’d like, but there’s excellent depth of flavours. Lovely.

Very dark. Thick. Intense, umami, sweet cream, lots of coffee. Lots of bourbon, well-balanced, and again a great malt intensity

Shared with Josh during our trip to Festival of Dark Arts 2026.
Aroma: loads of American oak, caramel, coconut, and coffee.
Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet and thick. Finishes with coffee, chocolate, coconut, and American oak.
Overall: this is very nice.
