Chmel Peacharine nás učaroval a abychom vyzkoušeli jeho čistý projev i v čiré a hořké verzi piva, vybrali jsme odlehčenou verzi pivního stylu Cold IPA. Novozélandský chmel perfektně funguje s kvasinkami spodního kvašení, v našem případě Lallemand NovaLager, a zde přináší vyrovnanou chuť broskve a nektarinky doplněnou o tóny mandarinky a grapefruitu.

Peacharine completely won us over, and to experience its pure expression in a clear, bitter format, we went with a lighter take on a Cold IPA. This New Zealand hop pairs perfectly with lager yeast — in our case, Lallemand NovaLager — delivering a balanced peach and nectarine bright character, lifted by notes of tangerine and grapefruit juice on a clean malt base.

(Draft at Akkurat, Stockholm, 11 March 2026) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Hoppy nose with citrus, lemon peel, pineapple, pine needles and white bread. Hoppy, malty taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, white bread, pineapple, pine needles and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, dry. Fresh, crisp and hoppy. Quite drinkable. Very nice.

Med-thin bod, med-high carbo. Med-high bitter, med candyish sweet. Lots of peach and arine hops flava. Pretty clean, easy drinking. Good.
