This collaboration unites two strengths: Braybrooke’s devotion to German lager tradition and Baron’s flair for expressive hopping.
The result is an Italian-style Pilsner — crisp, elegant, aromatic. Brewed with Bamberger Pilsner and Munich malts, decoction-mashed for depth, and cold-lagered for balance, it delivers the clarity and drinkability you’d expect from Braybrooke.
The twist lies in the hops: Tettnanger, Tango and Rottenburger, layered through kettle, whirlpool and dry-hopping. Bright, floral and refined, this is Pilsner reimagined — German discipline, Italian innovation, British creativity.

Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate. Mid- to dark gold and clear with a swirl of off-white head. Floral aroma, orange blossom, maybe a metallic hint. Lime maybe. Tastes sweet, crisp, more orange notes, light grainy character with a bitter finish. Kumquat in the aftertaste. A pretty classy lager.
