Nieves Man ha vuelto. En esta ocasión, con una cerveza más compleja, más potente y más deliciosa. De alta graduación alcohólica, muy oscura y con notas a nuez tostada, trufa, cacao y agave. Segunda colaboración, meramente involuntaria, con nuestro amigo del alma, el arqui Miguel Nieves.
Manténgala refrigerada, no la guarde, consúmala bien fresca.

Dark brown. Aroma is cactusy, chocolatey. On the palate, it's got good body. Similarly chocolatey, really nice bit of cactus to it. The barrel is very well-integrated. Very good.

473mL can, pours black with a small beige head. Nose has a complex mezcal barrel character upfront, with a solid toasted malt base. Flavour has quite a unique mezcal barrel character—very herbal, somewhat spicy—with strong enough malt support to hold it together. Really nice, unique mezcal expression. The ABV burn is there but reasonably expressed. Unique—I love the barrel expression here.

Poured from 473mL can. Very dark brown with small beige head. Nutty, woody mezcal barrel, medium roast malts. Would like a touch more from the base, but the barrel character is very nice.

473mL can. Pours black with a minimal white head. Roasted malts and a floral mezcal character on the nose. Flavour has a really interesting mezcal character, very floral, a touch of smoke, some hot booziness on the finish; the malts are decent, but they're really there to support the barrels. Very nicely done.
