Introducing Beaucoup Brown, our very brown take on the style. With notes of toasted Wonder bread, chocolate malt balls, roasted nuts, and a mild toffee sweetness, it’s balanced by a restrained hopping schedule which contributes to a mild bitterness and subtle notes of candied citrus and spruce from PNW hops. This is our entry into the world of brown ales; a beaucoup brown ale.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: chocolate, roasted nuts, bread, and a caramel/toffee malt backbone play with some citrusy/piney hops
Flavor: brings the prior noted aromas to a fine bittersweet blend in an earthy sort of way; finishes nutty, semi-toasty and caramel-like
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability about it, some smoothness but also some hop aggression, nothing overbearing - just noticeable
Overall: this is an American brown ale and it's one I would return to.
