This smooth drinking Stout is English and not Irish in style. It is made with all English ingredients and is not as dry as typical Irish Stouts. This beer would be traditionally enjoyed in pubs in Southern England. It is a very basic Stout that lets the grains shine through but has a very mild coffee flavor and a pleasant after taste.

On tap Pours a very dark brown with moderate white head Aromas of dusty dark chocolate, ash,and dry roasted malts. Flavors of same very dry heavily roasted malts. Can’t get the oatmeal smoothness - more of a dry stout. Nice.

Draft at the source. Almost black color, brown head. Nice aroma of burnt toast, coffee, light licorice. Taste has sweet fruity coffee. Good body.
