A crystal-clear, bright copper ale with a light, toasty maltiness, intricately layered with floral European hops and juicy, fruity New World varieties. Every element has been finely tuned so that the malt and hop bill reward close attention, delivering a beer where the devil truly is in the detail – and the finish is devilishly good.

Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Dark, almost brownish gold, clear with a slightly scummy off-white head on top. Malty aroma, notes of persimmon, stone fruit, melon. Sweet taste, more malty notes hovering over decent chewy hop flavours. Some cherry and tangerine in the finish. Weighty body for the ABV, soft carbonation.

Amber gold with a frothy / creamy white head and a mellow fruit malt aroma, just a hint of sweet citrus. Smooth and fresh, leafy fruit malt, a hint of citrus and a dry bittersweet finish.
