A still, elegant and vinous cider, to be sipped and savoured. Deep and robust tannins are overlayed with delicate floral notes and hints of summer fruit.

750ml bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear oily greenish - amber with no head. The aroma is musty, funky, earthy and woody up front, tart, zingy, apple skin, some sherbet and white wine. The taste is dry, crunchy, tart, puckering, dry oak, tannin, apple skin, vinous, dry white wine, white grape, gooseberry, raspberry pip, muted alcohol presence and some dull funk in the backdrop. Finish dry and tannic. Medium bodied and flat. Bright and moreish. Tasty one.
