Brewed with local Corn and fermented with yeast from their smoked Lagerbier.
We brewed Night Fields with local corn from Pakenham using a cereal mash. This is our first corn lager using this technique, and it allows us to use unprocessed corn that’s local to us. It’s dark in colour and light in flavour, with subtle roasty notes.
We fermented Night Fields with the yeast from our Dawdle Smoked Lagerbier to impart subtle smokey flavours, which adds some unique complexities to this beer.

A red copper brown lager with a thin creamy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy hops, light treacle, faint roasted character, pleasant. In mouth, a nice roasted chocolate malt with light peated notes, light cereals, pleasant and smooth. On tap at brewery.
