This intensely red beer begins life as Cosette Sour Blond. We pick through our sick choosing 5-12 month old barrels and then blend onto 1.75 pounds per gallon of fresh NC grown raspberries where it re-ferments on the fruit for 2 months.

Lots of raspberry and some tangy grapefruit bretta. Lots of fruit. Pours reddish pink with good head and lacing. Tangy finish. Good balance and nice stuff. Tap at Snally.

Draft at Snallygaster 2016. Poured a clear reddish color, kind of a very light pink hue. Aroma was lots of raspberries, tart funky notes. Light sweetness peaks it’s head out in this one between tart raspberry puree. Funky, tart notes.

[2/13/15] Draught sample at Almanac & Friends Sourfest at Public House in San Francisco. Hazy red color. Lovely sourish raspberries aroma. Delicious sour raspberry flavor with some oak and an astringent hint in the finish. Rounded mouthfeel. Great stuff.

A burgundy red ale with a thin rosey white head. In aroma, beautiful raspberry jam with light acidity, light Brett, very nice, sweet and cloying. In mouth, a nice tart raspberry jam with light acidity, nice lactic acid, Epsom salts, very nice and complex. On tap at Funkatorium.
