For this cocktail inspired ale we procured barrels from Cardinal Gin distillery, just down the mountain. We fermented this beer with 30% Prosecco and Chardonnay grape must and added fresh lemon peel. After 3 months in gin barrels the resulting beer is an ale that truly challenges the idea of the incredible capabilities of beer.

Keg at the downstairs tasting room. Pours a hazy orange with a thin frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of spice, cinnamon, juniper, mint, caramel malt. The taste is caramel, ginger, cinnamon. Medium bodied, lingering spice.

Draft at Salud courtesy of Jason, thank you sir! Hazy golden yellow color, big fluffy white head. Aroma of perfume and herbs. Taste has slightly boozy grapefruit, gin, vanilla. Tastes like a cocktail, as intended. Interesting.
