Bock Bawk is an German-style bock. Bock Bawk has a deep golden reddish hue. The beer is malt forward with a toasty aroma and flavor and a slight sweetness. German noble hops are used for very light bittering, and the beer finishes smooth and clean. 6% ABV – 20 IBUs

Can (2/19/26) from Friar Tuck, Crestwood. Dark, iced tea brown, nice sparkle, ring of head, light lacing. Aroma is sweet malt/caramel, light fruit, mostly sweet but vaguely tart. Taste resembles aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, dry, mostly bready finish but still that tart aspect. The tart aspect confuses me. This doesn't strike me as occurring due to age but could that explain that as opposed to just brewing flaw.

12 oz. can shared by tfontana, ty. Flavor of earthy grain, molasses, and a odd sour hint in the finish. Perhaps it fairs better fresher as this was canned 2/19/2026. Hard to know.

Pour is a mice clear mahogany with a small white head. Aroma is some mocha with some cherry wood. Flavor is more of the mocha with some cherry and toasted malt. I don't know how spot on for the style this is but it is a flavorful malty beer.
