Bottle poured into Castillo Iris glass. Reddish brown color, clear. Light tan head. Aroma is very tart, earthy, non sweet berries akin to red current. A very fresh and light feel to the aroma. Some kompot, so the malt character is light and lots of yeast and bacteria fruitness. Flavor is similar clean malts with lots of tart berries. No hops to speak of. I really like it. Easy to drink without offputting aspects of a sour. However, nothing "Scottish" about it. I kind of wanted a sour Scottish but glad to try this.

Bottle - pours reddish brown tan head - nose/taste of sour caramel, florals, fruity funk - medium body. Lots of foaming head lost half the bottle, but what’s left was good.

At SAVOR. Poured a hazy golden straw color with a fizzy head. Aroma was citrus, tropical fruits. Very strong sour notes. Light floral notes, pretty tasty, though not a lot of nuance.

Savor 2016: Dried leaves nose. Opaque copper, thin head. Extremely tart currant and green olives. Medium body, very tart, easy carbonation. Weird.

A murky dark reddish amber ale with no head. In aroma, tart cherry, light acidity, light cave, interesting. In mouth, a nice tart sweet fruity malt with light lactic notes, light Brett, ground cherries, very nice. On tap at Revolution Ale House CLT.

Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen for sending! Pours a touch hazy, rusty orange appearance with a nice sized, light brown head. Tart black cherries, some herbal/musty notes, caramel, and fruit cocktail in the nose. Moderately tart flavor. It really tastes like canned fruit cocktail as well. Maybe a hint of cheese along with a very herbal and toasted malty flavor. Certainly unique but this is one that I wish I had shared with someone else, as a full bottle is tough to stomach alone. Interesting enough.
