Bottle thanks to Matt! Pours clear golden pink, small white head, dissipates fairly quickly, some lacing. Aroma is cherries, funk, wood, somewhat acetic. Flavor is quite light on tartness despite the acetic noes, with light plus buggy funk. Medium body

750 ml bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a light pinkish hue with a medium white head. A big cherry and oak nose. The flavor is sharp, very sour, but more sour cherries, sweet and spicy cherries, lots of oak. The depth of this is awesome, and it is really quite drinkable. Lovely cherry sour.

Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a pink-amber color with a medium sized soapy white head. The aroma was tart cherry, cherry pits, and a bit of berry but was fairly dry. The flavor was tart berry, cherry and had a dry, spicy and astringent presence. Very long finish. Medium body. Ok.

Some busybody may ask, is a beer really worth $30? I say no, but James Horny Devil bought the bullet and then bit the farm. Had this at the 2014 RB Pittsburgh Summer Gathering at Horny Devil’s place. Actually it was after the equinox at the beginning of fall, but DILLIGAF. Big thanks to James & Michelle for hosting such a nice spread of quality beers. Smell is fer sure tart and makes my mouth water. Nice light rose color. Slight haze. On the uptake there is a nice sour cutting sizzle. Taste is simply fun and lovely. Very nice, fer sure this beer rocks. Some farm attributes as well. Overall a very solid example of wild beer should be. Rumors of this being watered down must be false. Glad to have tasted this and I thank James for it. One last thought, however good this is, for the price paid for this you can find cantillon at half the price and I would probably would prefer the price ratio of the cantillon.
