Bottle shared by nmann08 at DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Thanks! Poured a hazy yellow color with only a small fizzy head. Aroma was lemon notes, rind, sweet sugary notes. Funky flavor here, lemon, medicinal, wet hay. Didn’t hate it, but wasn’t really as enjoyable as it could have been. The nicest thing I can say is that they hit the right abv for the style.

From a 75 cl bottle at the DC Pre-Turkey Day Tasting, Novemeber 9, 2014. Weird tart nose. Some lemon flavors with a thin watery mouthfeel. Meh.

Bottle at the RateBeer DC Tasting shared by nmann08. Yellow color with no head. Aromas of lemon starburst, pungent notes. Tastes of lemons, butterscotch. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Not sure what kind of animal manure this is but this is rough. Smells like old feet and crap. Pours blonde. Funky cheese finish. Bottle thanks to nmann.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color. Aroma of stinky feet, but not in a good way. Taste is sour lemon.

Bottle from Bert’s Pours the lightest color I’ve seen since Zima, an extremely pale straw with a decent sized bone white head. The aroma is a mix of pungent Parmesan and blue cheese. I can’t find anything else behind that. The flavor is a little better than the aroma. Lemony tart bubbly maltiness but the funky cheesy flavor lingers on my palette and keeps me from wanting another sip. Light body moderate carbonation. I’ve never been a fan of this style, but my God this is horrible.

EDIT
I let my glass sit and after a little bit most of the cheese dissipated and I adjusted my score up a bit because it wasn’t so bad after all.
