Draft taproom. Pours brown with a large light brown head. Aroma is nutty as hell, some coffees, but most nuts - perhaps hazelnut. Flavor is nut, weird funky perfume, chocolate, coffee it must be the flavor of the nuts that I hate. But I really don't care for this at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Pours clear reddish black, small beige head, decent lacing. Aroma is Reese’s, roast. Flavor is medium sweet, very light bitter. Add it to the list of PB porters in don’t like. Lightish body.

Sampled at the brewery, pours a watery, deep brown with a ring of off white head. Nose has... peanut butter! Also malt, toast, some cracker, creamy oats, a little molasses. Flavor is just like toast with peanut butter, a little nutella too, light coffee. Dry finish. Very drinkable. Kitschy, sure, but pretty well done.

Keg at the brewery. Dark brown with a thin fizzy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of strong peanut butter, toasted nuts, mild roasted malt. The taste is peanut butter, nuts, roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits. Medium bodied, well balanced. Not a huge peanut butter fan but this was tasty.

Draft pour at Novemberfest 2014. Poured a golden ruby color with a small off-white head. Aroma was, well what do you know... like some roasted peanuts, roasted malts. Flavor was roasted malts, and tastes like peanuts, peanut butter, chocolate, oats. Gimmicky? Sure. But delicious.

Location: Draft at Isley, 5/2/14
Aroma: The nose of this one has roasted malts, dark chocolate, and peanut butter
Appearance: This one pours a dark brown color with a tan head and decent lace
Flavor: The taste is roasted and malty, oatmeal, chocolate malts, and a bit of peanut butter
Palate: The body is medium, it has a decent amount of creaminess, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a really nice beer. Definitely my favorite of the two I tried here. There's enough chocolate and peanut butter here to make for a good flavor, but it isn't overly sweet, which could have happened pretty easily.
