(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 18 Oct 2015) Cloudy brownish colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with bread, cereal, resin and earthy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of cereal, grainy malt and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty, with a good hop presence. Nice one.

Donkergeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en fruitig, licht zuur met iets van fruit, citrus. Lekker licht biertje, drinkt makkelijk weg.

The Wai-Ti version in this newish series of single hop beers, tasted side by side with the two other ones. Very thick and moussy, dense, egg-white head, hazy peach blonde colour. Aroma of lemon blossom, passion fruit, sourish grains, bitter honey, biscuit, apple peel, some banana. Crisp, light fruity taste, apple peel, touch lemon zest and banana accent, soft carbo, sweetish graininess, supple, long herbal and aromatically citrusy hop bitterness in the end, but both the bittering power and the aroma remain relatively subtle. Highly quaffable but to me the least appealing of the three.

33 cl bottle @ Oud Arsenaal, Antwerp
Aroma is odd with strong gooseberry bush tones, baking stuff, yeast and hay. Flavour has worty notes, some apricot and biscuits. Also gooseberry bush. Messy, slightly worty and unusual. Quite far from 60.
