Bottle at Vu?ko Pub, pours a deep dark dirty brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out earthy cocoa, with toasted nuts and some crusty bread. Flavour is fairly robust, with earthy notes, rubber, and medium roast. The phenolic rubbery notes are a bit detracting, but it's a fun strong brown. Flawed but just drinkable.

Boca 0.33L...na prvu miris mi je po kavi a okus je pak kao lagano, lagano dimljeno, iako ima 7,5 % alkohola ne osjeti se u ustima...

On tap at Prvi Novosadski festival. Pours brown with medium head. Caramel, malty, some smoke. Unfortunately unpleasant flavor as well, not sure if it was phenolic, but it was off.

Keg at Black Dog Pub, Mostar. Hazy brown body with a thin beige head that gradually fades. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of overripe nectarine and flat Coca-Cola. Flavour of brown sugar, peach, caramel and lightly roasted malts. Slightly sour finish. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This is a bit rough around the edges but I think it’s a decent Brown Ale.

Jun. ’14. A 0.33 l bottle, another one Marko’s, great thanks for sharing! It poured hazy dark brown body with medium to big tan head. Herbal hoppy and a bit smoked, peaty aroma. Flavor was nice, herbal again a bit sourish and really smoked, not only peat but some bacon or such serious stuff. Medium bodied, nice long finish, lightly sweetish with caramel and rounded with dry herbs. Very good, better than the other two "regulars" I tried.

Bottle thanks to Travlr, who else would have gotten this rare country tick
Gusher that wouldn’t stop. Pours clear brown with a big beige head, good lacing. Aroma is smoky, chocolate and dark malts. Taste is smoky, grainy and ash
A nice Brown ale.

Rerate: Thanks to the Oldbridž guys for sending these to try to the Split crew (and a keg for the party). Dark brown body, ok slightly off white head. Aroma... caramel, bubblegum, sweet. Nice. Creamy, vaguely roasty, very caramelly taste, ending dry and malty. Ok, but not as thrilling as some of their other beers. Old rating, before they fixed their issues. Huge thanks to Davor (400d) for sending this to us! Poured a dark brown body with a thick, huge lasting off white head. Smoky aroma, bacon? Light raisins. Mild smoky taste, light smoked ham, slightly nutty, mild malty notes, bit off but still quite interesting. If this is intended to be a smoked beer, nice try, but more work needed. 7/4/5/3/13

Pours a medium dark and slightly hazy black color with a decent cream colored head. The aroma is immediately quite soury, but is then followed by a more pleasant roasted aroma. Gentle but nice. The taste is complex. Starts very bittery. It’s followed by more gentle bitterness together with some sweetness and also some strong spices. The finish is plain bitter. OK, but a bit too strong taste.
