500ml can from Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is light tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a somewhat light, crisp, fresh, lemon lime citrus, liven tart acidic, light herbal, light sweet toffee, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. A little too sweet for my liking if I’m honest.

Festivals are a good chance to try beers that are usually fairly pricey or not locally available.
Vertere Eugenia NZIPA 7% 10 IBU
This was a great looking milky gold with a thick head of off-head foam and a mouthwatering tropical fruit juice aroma.
Medium to full bodied with quite a smooth mouthfeel. The taste is very juicy, orange julep sweet citrus and a guava/mango blend tropicality.
