We honoured the heritage of this traditional German-style sour and added a local tenggara twist to the tale. Our wayang story is a marriage of fruit and beer, and is based around the usual cast of gose characters including wheat malt for a light hazy body and a pinch of salt and coriander for elevated flavours. A lime aroma appears as the motueka hop makes an unexpected cameo. So what's the plot twist? It's the freshly squeezed jeruk limau that cheekily steals the show.
