5oz at Monk's: pours oily dark brown with small head. Aroma is caramel, booze, herbs, and wood. Taste is fairly sweet which adequately covers up the booze. Not really any bitterness, plenty of gin notes. Makes me

Sample at Churchkey pours an oily caramel brown. Nose has malt and caramel and hugely herbal. Flavors all follow. Malt and caramel and witchhazel. Full bodied, boozy and astringent. 6 7 7.5 7 7

Sample size at Churchkey. Poured an incredibly dark, almost black brown color with a small head. Aroma was sweet caramel, figgy. Herbal notes, with malt and dried fruit. Big and boozy. I like the idea of this, but hard to really do anything but sip it a few times given it's abv.
