Draft at Churchkey. Cloudy golden color, white head. Aroma of Freedom Toast. Taste is maple syrup on freedom toast, holy cow, best imitation I’ve seen.

4oz pour at Churchkey DC and whoa... Pours a translucent brown with some thin, white head. Nose is HUGE with vanilla and maple, smells like Aunt Jemima. Flavor is like watered down creme brulee, vanilla, burnt sugar, orange, heavy vanilla. It is really wild how well they got the concept right. Still gimmicky though.

Smells hugely of French toast, and makes me think from the beginning what the beer is going to taste like other than a gimmick. Luckily the taste isn’t such a sugar bomb and actually tastes pretty light on the palate. Fairly watery texture. Finishes with light sweetness. Tap at Churchkey.

4 ounces on draft at ChurchKey during the SAVOR Surly event. Pours dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of big french toast with cinnamon, syrup, toast, caramel. Tasting notes of french toast with cinnamon, syrup, caramel, sweet bread. Medium body with a dry finish. Aroma was incredible and spot on french toast.
