Dare to challenge him! Bastardo pale ale is a new exquisite desperado. He will overpower you with a freshness of the mint that cools a hot city summer and a bitterness of the fruits and the hops that are its basic notes. A duel can begin!

Bottle, 0.33l. Hazy clay brown color with thin soapy off-white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of pine, ripe fruits, yeast and herbs. Taste starts with citric acidity and strong mint note, following is mild toasted malty, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is light bitter. Medium body, oily texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Too minty and sour, for sure not flawless bottle...

Pours a hazy orangey golden color, topped with a decently sized white head. Fruity aroma, a bit citrusy with some herbal presence. Taste is sweet at first, mild bitterness, a bit herbal and some spices are felt. It’s got a bit of a summery feel to it. Nice one.

On tap at Ljubljanski Festival Piva 2015. Finally found it after two unsuccessful quests in Beograd and Novi Sad. Cloudy golden coloured, small white head, fruity hoppy nose. Malty, fruity, oranges, slight soapy and grassy with touch of caramel near the end. Another good Kabinet brew.

17/II/15 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 13/XII/14 (oops!) (2015-229) Thanks to Makroijelena for the bottle!

Little hazy deep blond to orange beer, huge creamy yellow head, little stable, adhesive. Aroma: lots of oranges, orange blossom, orange juice, soapy, bit piny, a bit off as well. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, soapy, pretty bitter, orange zest, bit resinous, some cabbages. Aftertaste: soapy, unpleasant, orange peel, pretty bitter, little chemical, lemony. I've been generous with the scores, since I drank this beer past BB date, but even then, there's brewing errors in there which shouldn't be.

Bottle courtesy of ippopotamo36 , thanks! Extra appearance point because I like the name of this one. Clear bright golden color, fluffy tan head with good retention and solid lacing. Light floral aroma, subtle perfume and herbs. Taste is bitter lemongrass, straw. Too bitter and not enough aroma for me for an APA.

Purchased in Belgrade and consumed in Kosovo. Pours a dark orange, clear with a white consistent foamy head. Nose: still fermentation feel (!), tons of pine resin. Mouth: medium-high carbonation, grass, resin. Lovely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
