The Sabaja IPA is the first of its kind in Kosovo. This ale focuses on the floral and citrus characters of a balanced combination of American and Slovenian hops. The IPA's bitter backbone is balanced by a light sweetness. The IPA is light gold in color, with hits of copper at its core. It features subdued fruit esters in the aroma, and a clean finish on the palate.

OK IPA. Nije nešto prefenomenalno, ali prođe. Fali joj malo više arome i gorčine. Prije bi ovo svrstao u Pale Ale.

Bottle at Rome tasting dig the bottle design from these fellas. Dirty orange pour .nose is ok of over ripe fruit. Tastes of pine, sweet candy, parsley, some citrus. Moderate carbonation. Seems like a brewery with potential.

Pours a dark amber color, topped with a medium sized off-white head that soon settles to a small cover only. Mild fruity aroma, some very nice sweet tropical fruits, later on some malty notes as well. Taste starts with some mild sweetness followed by a rather moderate hoppy bitterness and just a touch of herbal presence in the aftertaste. Quite light but nice.

Copper to amber colored, weak white head. Aroma is some sweet caramel, a bit bready, some cardboard. Taste moderate sweet caramel, bready, cardboard, doughy finish, some low citrus hops. Low to medium bitterness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. (0,33 Pivoteka Zagreb)

Dec ’14. A 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Marko, great thanks for sharing! This one poured hazy orange body with medium sized head. Very nice, style-typical aroma, orange and some other herbal hops balanced with sweet biscuit malt. Flavor was more or less the same, not too bitter, hops were subdued with some fine toasty malts, including caramel which is not usually seen in the IPAs. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Lightly sweeter finish pronounced more of its fine and interesting malt, lasted for long. A very nice beer from Sabaja!

Ein IPA darf bei einer Craft-Brauerei natürlich nicht fehlen. Es ist ein guter Vertreter mit einem feinen hopfigen Geschmack, der gut in das Gesamtbild passt. Kann man sehr gut trinken.

Bottle thanks to Nikos! Pours hazy orange, small off-white head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is full of Belgian yeast esters, which is not mentioned in the description, hay pepper, pine. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, lots of Belgian yeast. Medium body. Not bad, but this is totally a Belgian IPA...

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Peach, biscuity malt, sultanas and grapefruit in the aroma. Tangy, hoppy and fairly bitter taste with notes of peach, dried apricot, grapefruit and sultanas detected.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and others. Murky orange/amber coloured, minimal off-white head, dusty honeyish nose. Malty, light caramel, fruity hoppy and notes of honey with sweetish finish. Almost half year after BBE date. So when I find it fresh I’ll rerate it.

Bottle from trade, thanks ippoppotamo! 6.3% a beautiful label and cool stubby bottles from which pours this copper elixir. A big foamy light beige head follows that gives off aromas of fruity Brett funk but alas not much discernible hops. Medium tongue scraping IPA type body. I get metallic, fruits, and an intense bitterness. Tastes like Brett, is this a Belgian IPA? Or infected? Anyways an ok beer but not really much of an American style IPA though - Kabinet is much better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
