On tap @Open Baladin (Rome). Pours amber with a medium to little persistent off-white head. Aroma is malty and spiced, caramel, sage (like "saltinbocca alla romana"), light smoked and floral notes, pine, juniper, a balsamic touch. Flavour is complex, malty, spiced, well balanced, medium sweet with a smoked touch. Medium body, easy to drink, medium to light carbonation. Maybe not so elegant, but a nice way to innovate the style. A suggestive mind trip through a shady forest.
