Bottle. Clear, medium brown color with a decent tan head. Nice lace. Aroma. Is very similar to a pale ale. Taste has really good balance with a hoppy aftertaste.

Reviewed from notes. Thanks for the trade, Wendy!
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a mostly dark brown color with a finger’s worth of sustaining white foamy head. After dissipation, some messy lace.
The aroma had some milk chocolate sweetness up front. Then some nuts, faint roast, light caramel/toffee base malt. Sweet oats/grains. light earthy hops.
The flavor blended the sweet to the roast pretty nice. Bled into the aftertaste to find it’s way into the finish in the same way.
The feel was about medium bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Silky smooth all around my tongue. Carbonation was good and so was the ABV.
Overall, pretty nice brown ale well worthy of having again.

Clear medium brown body with a tall, off-white head. Sweet, nutty malt aroma. no hops. The flavor is sweet but a good crisp hop bitterness balances this out nicely. Decent, I’ve had many that were far worse and a few better.

Draft at Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of nuts, brown malts, chocolate. The taste is caramel, nuts, mild hops and cocoa. Medium bodied.
