In honor of the 200th anniversary of Francis Scott Key’s penning of The Star Spangled Banner just outside of Fort McHenry right here in Baltimore, we’ve brewed up this easy drinking, all-American beer. Our take on a classic American style, the Cream Ale, this light golden ale is brewed with American grown barley, wheat, corn, & oats and lightly hopped with Columbus for bittering and a kiss of floral Mosaic. This all-American classic is just the thing to make you sing!

Can, from the source. Pours very pale clear yellow with small frothy white head, sweet malt aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter grassy hops taste, thin watery body, medium finish. Not very remarkable.

Thanks Nate.
Can to becher pint glass, the appearance was a soft yellow cream color with a slim cap of a little white foamy head. Sly lace, just slid right into the beer.
The aroma had some sweet grains, subtle sweet dough, light citrus, and some soft sweet biscuit.
The flavor was sweet throughout with the normal lingering sweet doughy aftertaste I expect from the style which guided into the finish as directed.
The palate was light bodied with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, for an Americanized cream ale, what’s not to love. Are they drinking kegs of this at Orioles games? I would if I lived in the Baltimore area.

12 ounce can. Hazy honey gold color. Large foamy white head yields a nice clinging lace. Faint vegetal malt nose. Flavor has a bittersweet buttery malt component to it. Light body and carbonation. There is a hint of honey and floral hops in the finish. Very drinkable, and a nice interpretation of the Cream Ale style.

A little bitterness and some crisp barley. Not a lot of a cream sense here buy there rarely is in these beers. Pours golden clear without much head. Light bitter finish. Easy drinking. Tap at Glen’s.

Met my low expectations. On the edge of being a pale lager, aroma is mostly cereal grain. Taste also very grainy, bland, slightly metallic.
