Our way of doing things... Pale Ale
Hops used (boil and dry hopping): Chinook, Cascade.
Pale Ale is a light amber beer with a light but persistent head. Its complex aromatic profile features pleasant notes of tropical fruit (primarily mango), complemented by elegant citrus, resinous, and herbaceous notes. On the palate, it confirms its bold character, yet is also easy to drink, with an intriguing savory component that sustains the drink until the bitter finish, which returns with the fruity accents already perceived on the nose.
Baladin and Birra Perugia chose a beer that would enhance the Umbrian brewery's production philosophy , specializing in British-inspired styles, but reimagined with a modern twist and a focus on drinkability. This Pale Ale draws on the principles of the classic English style of the same name, reinterpreting them with a more contemporary twist. The result is a pale, aromatic, and easy-drinking beer that stays away from the American interpretation of the style, favoring tropical notes that enhance a complex and intriguing bouquet.

Clear amber to dark orange beer, creamy dense off-white head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: very sweet impression, caramel, sweet malts, strawberry jam, oxidized, smells like quite an old pale ale to me. MF: soft to no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very malty, pretty sweet, some caramel, sugary, a hint of strawberry jam, gentle bitterness. Aftertaste: malty, gentle bitterness, a little fruity, hint of citrus, some tropical fruits, pretty weak and watery, very disappointing. Again, just like last month when I was in Rome, Baladin again serves me an old (I)PA.
