Prince George deals with a bear problem every late summer and fall, when apples drop from trees around the city and become easy attractants. This charity helps keep the community safe by collecting those apples before wildlife finds them.
To honour the amazing work they do, $1 from every bottle sold will be donated back to the program.
This is a special edition cider, and it won’t be around forever, so grab it while you can.

355mL bottle, pours a clear blonde, no head. Nose has light floral notes, airy apple skins, and a tiny hint of tannins. Flavour is bizarre, with tartness, something putrid that’s quite offensive (butyric maybe?), and a sort of cereal character. This seems off in some inexplicable way. Weird stuff—doesn’t work.

Pale, chill haze. Aroma hints at sweet, almost candyish cider. There’s some tartness up front, bland sweetness a bit. Not coming together for me.

Poured from 355mL bottle. Clear-ish blonde with almost no white head. Dry, tart apple, something weird from the wild yeasts from randomly collected apples. Average.

355mL bottle. Pours clear pale rose-blonde. Apples and cardboard on the nose. Flavour is surprisingly tart with some sour apples and some kind of off-flavour. I can't describe what's off here, but I'm not a fan.
