CBH2026. Smell of rye bread, chocolate, molasses. Black colour, tiny tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, tar, some coffee. Very sweet, lightly bitter. Flat carbon, thick texture.

Inky black with a dark beige head. Sweet dark malts, heavy roasted malt, molasses, burnt malts, dark chocolate, earth, toffee. Full, velvety body. Finish is long with molasses, booze, sweet roasted malts and a hint of vanilla. It’s big and bold for sure but doesn’t have that “it” factor. Still, not knocking this especially if looking for a big stout. Tasty.

Opaque colour and tiny head. Intensive black malt, hops in the nose. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Roasted, licorice, sticky flavour. Lingering hoppy, and sweetish dark maltyness in the aftertaste. Interesting.

Stingy, sweet and roasty with some coffee, licorice, molasses, syrup and earthiness. A bit unbalanced and heavy.
