On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small scummy cream head and good lacing. There’s roasted malts, nuts and oats in the aroma. In the mouth it starts off fairly sweet but a little bitterness comes through after a while. Initial flavours are roasted malts, oats, lactose and dried fruit with hints of ginger and cola coming later. Finish is slightly dry. This is decent.

Cardiff Mini-break Beer#31. Very dark start with good roasted in both aroma and taste, with chocolate developing in the latter. Mildly sticky texture.
