What goes together better than steamed crab and molten butter? Crabzilla IPA and Butter DIPA!
For this year’s summer collaboration beer with our good friends at Moot Brew Co we decided to merge two of our favourite big hazies into one brew! We took our favourite ingredients from each beer and stitched them together, creating a true monster of a brew!
A lusciously creamy and velvety beer with lashings of over ripe tropical fruits with notable lychee, pineapple, sweet candy flavours with more subtle coconut and vanilla undertones.
Crabzilla has been buttered up!
Hops: Citra, Citra Cryo, Strata, Strata CGX, Sabro, Motueka
Malt: Golden Promise, Wheat, Flaked Barley, Flaked Oats

Can. A light haze on this slightly yellowish gold beer, small but tidy bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Smooth pale malts, a soft creamy sweetness. Soft cooling pine, a little savoury hop bite. Very mild hop spice. Soft Sabro coconut and slightly ripe pineapple. Nice rounded Amarillo orange and mandarin. Motueka, a bit lost here. Smooth finish. Hoppy for sure, doesn't quite gel and sing like it perhaps should but, a decent brew.
