16 oz can in a trade with tfontana, thanks buddy! Aroma shows caracker malt with soft melon. Flavor is candied citrus, hints of melon and a sweet, bready malt. Medium body and a tad chewy.
Nothing about this is West Coast to me at all. Leans a little sweet. Overall, respectable. Would try more from this brewer.

Can pour from Half-Step Beer and Wine, Norwich. Hazy, golden yellow, nice sparkle, thick head with good retention, splotchy lacing. Aroma is strong citrus over tropical fruit, piney backdrop. Taste is strong citrus over pine, late cracker. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, crisp, dry, bitter finish. Competent DIPA. A tad to the thin side for style.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: orange/copper color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet piney to lemony, citrusy/grapefruity hop tones, light malts - somewhat honey-ish and/or biscuity
Flavor: does a decent job of combining the prior noted aromas to a bitter to bittersweet sort of blend; finishes semi-bitter with some piney-ness
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper, some smoothness but also a little bit of hop spice brushing the tongue ever so slightly
Overall: not a bad attempt of a DIPA, think I could revisit this one.
