A Devon representation of this Herefordshire heritage apple variety, hand picked fruit from unsprayed orchards in October 2024. Cold racked to temper the acidity and bittersharp characteristics of the apples and to retain the fresh aromatics of its juice.
Rich lemon and strawberry baked cheesecake on the nose, with an intense kick of sherbert lemon and astringency in the mouth.

750ml bottle from Rull Orchard. Golden colour, some bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit, funk. Taste is tart, tangy, fleshy, appley, strawberries, with lemon sherbert, and sour, zingy acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.
